PCB-Wash is designed for thorough cleaning of reflowed
no-clean and rosin flux residues. PCB-Wash is designed to remove all flux
residues while leaving the solder joints bright and shinny. PCB-Wash is
exceptionally economical. PCB-Wash sells for half of other defluxing chemicals
and is typically used at half of the concentration of other chemicals.
Operation:
PCB-Wash is a
concentrated cleaning solvent designed for use in aqueous batch or in-line
spray machines. PCB-Wash is used to remove rosin-based flux, no-clean flux
residues, lead-free flux, tacky flux, and assembly residues from surface mount
and through hole printed wire assemblies. PCB-Wash is intended for use at
concentrations ranging from 5 to 10%. In spray applications PCB-Wash should be
heated to 150 F to ensure complete activation. The wash bath may be easily
monitored and controlled using a drop titration kit (available from Aqueous
Technologies).
Storage and Handling:
All ingredients
used in PCB-Wash are TSCA listed. None of the ingredients are regulated under
SARA Section 313 or 40 CFR 372. PCB-Wash is not classified as a flammable
liquid by DOT/NFPA. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for specific
handling precautions and instructions.
Product Availability:
PCB-Wash is
available commercially in 5 gallon and 55 gallon drums.
